Marcus Sternberg, a successful music video producer (and a really cool guy) supported me with this clip for the single. I'd love to share how I wrote this song with you today - the song came into being while I was hiking up a steep mountain in the Alps in a crazy perfect summer heat. SUMMERTIME AT BEST will see the world! I have been excited for a while to present you this new song of my new album ROLLING ON. The song is just what the video is, and lives to its motto that the best things "happen just like that"! So I was on tour in France, in the beautiful Bretagne. My friend Benoit told me about breathtaking landscapes. Places I had to visit before I left, and we loved what we saw so much that I handed the camera to my saxophone player when I discovered these hayballs. It all started out with the hayballs, the view, this perfect moment of summer. As we had just recorded the song, and he felt the vibes of the location as well, he filmed this video with me. And I really hope you like it! It's a "postal card" from my tour, it is summer, and I hope you feel the warmth and the salty tenderness of the ocean! The music video by the way is my first video cutting experience with which I tested my talent in that field. To be honest, it took a long time to make the video but I felt like this will be special. So I finished the project and I am happy to be able to send you this greeting today. I picked a release day in winter, so you get some warmth with it! I'd love to share how I wrote this song with you today - the idea came into being while ago. I was walking on the beach with my American friends Sarah and Michelene. The summer was perfect, it was after a bad flood during which my studio got flooded. You can imagine I was exhausted after days of fighting the water, and I had not slept in a while. Being at the ocean took all the worries and loss and pressure away. And it was just there that I took my guitar on the walk. I literally walked on the beach and had the guitar on the back, and sometimes in my hands to write this song. I think you can hear my story in the song. What do you think?
