A Drastyca é uma banda de Death Metal Melódico, oriunda da cidade de Cruz das Almas, Bahia - Brasil. Criada em 2010 pelo vocalista “Clay Cazaes” e apoiado pelo contrabaixista “Rodrigo Alves”, a banda deu os seus primeiros passos, todavia, devido a alguns problemas cotidianos, a banda teve um hiato que durou até o final do ano de 2015. Neste ano, os guitarristas “Tiago Marques” e “Wederson Oliveira” – que já faziam partes da banda antes do hiato – junto à “Clay Cazaes” reativaram a banda, dando início ao processo de composição e gravação do seu primeiro EP intitulado “Emblems”. A Drastyca tem como principais influências as banda: Death, Arch Enemy, Behemoth, Dimmu Borgir e Bathory. Tais influências culminaram em um som que misturam a brutalidade e a técnica com ênfase em melodias marcantes e pesadas. Além dos integrantes supracitados, a Drastyca atualmente conta também com a presença de "Luiz Felipe" no contrabaixo e "Marth" na bateria. O EP foi gravado entre os anos de 2016 e 2018, com muito esforço, rigorosidade, dedicação e principalmente com muito amor ao Metal extremo. “Nascemos e vivemos no Brasil, um país onde tudo é mais difícil para qualquer cidadão, ainda mais para Headbangers. Um país onde não temos um fácil acesso a instrumentos e equipamentos de gravação de alta performance, o que dificulta muito a criação e manutenção de uma banda, entretanto, não desistimos! Mesmo não tendo instrumentos e equipamentos de qualidade, nos doamos 100% para que esse EP pudesse soar com a melhor qualidade possível. Estamos extremamente satisfeitos com os resultados, e, esperamos que a comunidade Headbanger no mundo todo, apoie e aproveite o nosso material.” Drastyca is a Melodic Death Metal band from the city of Cruz das Almas, Bahia - Brazil. Created in 2010 by vocalist “Clay Cazaes” and supported by bass player “Rodrigo Alves”, a band of his first steps, however, due to some daily problems, a band had a hiatus that lasted until the end of the year 2015. Our EP was recorded between the years of 2016 and 2018, with a lot of effort, rigor, dedication and mainly with much love to the extreme Metal. “We are born and live in Brazil, a country where everything is harder for any citizen, even more so for Headbangers. The country does not have easy access to high performance recording equipment and tools, which makes it very difficult to create and maintain a band, but do not give up!
