Mannequin Pussy - Live in Philadelphia, a hate5six concert film (October 29, 2021)

In October, Philly's MANNEQUIN PUSSY @mannequinpussy played to a packed hometown crowd at @uniontransfer. This was just days after their van and all their gear had been stolen in Ohio. Their fans adore them so I reached out and offered to produce this concert film as a gift to them and their fans in the wake of something devastating. In my head there's a qualitative threshold that makes something a "concert film" and not just a normal full set video. For me it comes down to the dynamic between the band and the crowd and whether or not that reflects in the footage. The Turnstile record release show had a certain magic to it and so did this.
