Her triumph at the end of season 1 of Paradise City is where Lola saw herself in the stars so many years before. Lola is my child self and first alter ego, and after letting her back in I can say that years of sobriety have truly changed me. I’ve only lived a short time on this earth, but have accumulated enough memories, experiences, turmoil, redemption, and salvation to fill many lives.
