He would constantly put me in vulnerable positions and situations, made me feel uncomfortable and insecure with myself, my body, my way of speaking, in other words with EVERYTHING. Like I sing in this song “You suffocated me with fear. Drowned my life, a million tears”. This is how he made feel in those two years of relationship, in constant fear of abandonment and crying everyday for a love that never came to be true. When the dating came to an end it took me a while to see how free and well I was without him. This song came from the need of me trying to close this chapter in the book and move on to the next ones in my life. Ele me colocava constantemente em posições e situações vulneráveis, me fazia sentir desconfortável e insegura comigo mesma, meu corpo, meu jeito de falar, ou seja, com TUDO. Como eu canto nessa música “Você me sufocou com medo. Afogou minha vida, um milhão de lágrimas”. Foi assim que ele se fez sentir nesses dois anos de relacionamento, com medo constante do abandono e chorando todos os dias por um amor que nunca se concretizou. Quando o namoro chegou ao fim, demorei um pouco para ver como eu estava livre e bem sem ele. Essa música surgiu da necessidade de eu tentar fechar este capítulo do livro e passar para os próximos da minha vida.
