Chapter Five: The warrior leaps over the ground, almost flying, looking for somewhere to stop and collect her scattered thoughts, to try and grasp what has just happened... Together they were invincible, unstoppable, with her love, they were graceful dancers in a world of horror and destruction. - Some distance away from the warrior through bramble and thorns, the boy is stumbling, gasping for breath, he feels his limbs burning with exhaustion, like an animal hunted, fear clouding his thoughts. The creatures lunge at him from all sides and he is surrounded... He lashes out with wildly, falling to one knee he screams and spits at them. A cornered dog, the fallen pray... - As focus returns to the warrior, she hears the boy’s cry in the distance and without any pause she heads towards it, rage rising up inside her, the beast and its offspring must pay, they will not claim another life!! She explodes out into the clearing with unbridled fury, carving a path through the horde to stand between the boy and the creatures. Casting a glance behind checking he is alive, she turns to the seething masses, raising her sword. Where there was grace when she fought with her love by her side, ... now there is only wrath and violence. - Lyrics: Running down the winding road Through the trees and thorns Feeling numb, incomplete Losing the love of her life How can this be?
