“’Program 91's basic makeup is spiky, sharp, post-punk-inflected pop, executed with laser-precise accuracy. After all the peppy guitar lines and young-at-love-and-life razmatazz that one's heart could handle, the album melts down to gentle strums and layered "ba-da-da"s, saying farewell in the ‘we'll meet again’ way that only the best of friends do.” – Pitchfork

Revered Oslo-based label Jansen Records (Chain Wallet, Death By Unga Bunga, Darling West, Hajk) and acclaimed pop quartet RAZIKA are pleased to announce the release of its brand new full-length album titled Sånn Kjennes Verden Ut (That’s What The World Feels Like) For the first time since their debut, Razika has teamed up with prominent Norwegian producer Matias Tellez, and his inclusion has given the band and the album a fresh sound comprised of songs filled with massive synths and catchy choruses. The pace is slower, the production warmer and the sound is bigger, but Razika’s music is still energetic, jubilant and compelling. With big hooks and nods to modern R&B, the band has created their finest album to date. Fans of The New Pornographers, The Shins, The Aller Værste and Young Dreams will quickly understand why Razika is one of Norway’s most exciting bands currently making music. Razika might be the “biggest” band on Jansen Records, at least in Norway. The band released its debut back in 2011, garnering rave reviews at home and abroad, with nods from the likes of Pitchfork and others. Razika’s last two albums have been released on major labels but now they have found a perfect fit at Jansen Records. In support of the album, the band will perform a nationwide tour of a few choice venues and will play several of Norway’s largest festivals in the summer of 2019.

Three years have passed since the band’s last record, Ut Til De Andre – an eternity in the music business today. But with hits such as “Vondt i hjertet,” “Faen ta deg,” “Om igjen,” “Oslo” and many more, Razika were never in danger of disappearing from the collective consciousness. The brand new album, Sånn Kjennes Verden Ut (translated to That’s What The World Feels Like), is about life in a phase of transition. It’s about choices and breaking out of known patterns. On the record, vulnerability and uncertainty are apparent themes, both lyrically and musically.

The members of Razika have known each other since primary school and played together since the age of 15, which means they’ve been a band for close to thirteen years now. Pretty unique in today’s music industry, especially considering the members are still in their twenties.

“Since the start of the new year, it has been quiet from the Razika camp,” the band shares. “Making album number four proved to be easier said than done, but after a period of trial and error, we finally resolved it! Together with Matias [Tellez], we have created an album we are extremely proud of and we look forward to sharing with you!”
