The video covers a combination of two worlds - the depths of the oceans and the heights of space, interwoven and inspired by an out of body experience I had while being crushed by a car at 100mph. I somehow survived, but during the traumatic experience of getting hit I felt like I was floating in space and trapped in the aura of an alien-like state. Ultimately, “Ocean Creatures” touches on that supernatural feeling you experience when you face moments of the unknown. The video was directed by our good friends Jim Louvau and Tony Aguilera and was shot at Madehouse Studios in our hometown of Phoenix.
