DETHONATOR SET TO RELEASE ‘BEAUTIFUL IN DEATH’ SINGLE & VIDEO

Dethonator announce the upcoming release of the title track from their album ‘Beautiful In Death.’

‘Beautiful In Death’ is the fifth movement from the bands upcoming album ‘Race Against The Sun: Part Two’ which is due to be released on 27^th November and will be accompanied by a video.

The single, which will be accompanied by a video, will be released on 30^th October 2020.

“Beautiful In Death is a gothic ballad of sorts”, explain Dethonator, “It was chosen because of the immediacy of its chorus. We've never really had a ballad before, so this is something a bit different for us; at least until it turns into a riff avalanche in the midsection.”

‘Race Against The Sun: Part Two’ brings together the worlds of classic horror and Heavy Metal. Scheduled for release on the 27th November, the album is a dynamic and dramatic concept piece based on Bram Stoker’s gothic novel ‘Dracula’. ‘Race Against The Sun: Part Two’ is a forty minute narrative composition, playing continuously in seven movements. With a dedication to faithfully capturing the atmosphere and tone of the original story, ‘Race Against The Sun: Part Two’ offers the listener Dethonator’s most dramatic music yet.
The track ‘Beautiful In Death’ is narratively focused upon the character of Lucy becoming a vampire.

Originally forged in the East Midlands of England and now established in London, Dethonator are an exciting, four-piece Heavy Metal band. Starting out as teens in the summer of 2002, the band have honed their craft over nearly two decades. If Judas Priest define Heavy Metal, then Dethonator are Damascus Steel; metal forged true with myriad layers of influence drawn from the many stylistic paths explored by their forebears over the past half a century.
In 2019, Dethonator released their most diverse and colourful album to date, ‘Race Against The Sun: Part One’. This acclaimed album features current live favourites ‘Nightmare City’, ‘Pyroclastic’ and ‘When Lucifer Fell’.
