We have broken the silence with our first song ‘Unspoken’, from the forthcoming record HOLY GROUND. The track was originally written as part of the Sunset Sound sessions in Hollywood last August and the completed vision all came together when it was recorded at La Fabrique Studios in the south of France. ‘Unspoken’ is a great introduction to the album with Deen Castronovo’s driving beat and David Lowy’s solid rhythm, it features a monstrous riff by Doug Aldrich, along with the muscular and unbelievable vocal range of Glenn Hughes. Influenced by 70’s and early 80’s rock, The Dead Daisies sound is soulful and accessible – equal parts of Aerosmith, Bad Company and Foreigner: muscular vocals, bluesy riffs, big choruses, powerful melodies and strong hooks.
