We're Padme from İstanbul, Turkey and we've released our 3rd full length album "The Fine Line Between Being Conscious and Self Harm" recently. We wanted to ask you if you still do album reviews. You can have a listen from the links below.

To briefly sum up what we’ve done since we started playing: we were formed in 2016 and since we’ve released 1 EP “Re-Vizyon” (2016) and two full lenght albums Bugün (2017), IBAN TR75 0006 2000 7170 0006 (2018). For the first 3 years, we only played in Turkey, and after we wanted to explore the European punk scene, so we organized 2 tours, one in the winter of 2019 (12 shows; in Poland, Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands) and in the June 2019 (13 shows; in Austria, Hungary, Czechia, Slovakia and Slovenia). And in August 2019, we teamed up with some friends from Israel to record our third studio album there, and we played a show in Tel Aviv after the recordings.

"The Fine Line Between Being Conscious And Self Harm", Padme's third studio album, was recorded in Israel at Street Music Studio in the summer of 2019. After nearly one year of complications, the album will finally be released in May 2020 from Mevzu Records (TR) and Punk & Disorderly Records (CA). This record is more diverse and polished than their previous records, with the addition of the new guitarist adding a whole new dimension to the band's sound. Every member of the band writes songs and sings actively this time around, making it their most varied and energetic record. The songs are about topics such as hope and despair, joy and anger, and life and death. The record has influences from a plethora of genres including melodic hardcore, garage punk, and even psychedelic rock this time around. It's also a remarkably fast album, with the only slow song being cut from the record due to complications in the recording process. The music videos for the first and the second single off the album, "Can't Catch Me" and “17” was produced and released by Mevzu Records, with more music videos to come very soon.
