Superego soar on new shoegaze inspired single Loose!
Midlands quartet Superego make a welcome return in 2019 with the release of their shoegaze-tinged new single Loose. Following on from last year's debut single 'Sleep', released through Big Indie Records in conjunction with DIY's Big Indie Big Nights, the band have unveiled another cracking tune. 'Loose' is seeping with reverb-strewn hooks and fuzz-filled melodies from the offset, a sound closely connected to the likes of grunge influencers Demob Happy or Tigercub. Superego combine the distorted heavy sound of the 90’s with shimmering shoegaze-inflected soundscapes to create something that is undeniably scuzzy and impassioned. Superego have been lauded for their live performances having honed their skills while touring with Black Honey as well as supporting acts such as The Big Moon, Pale Waves, Boy Azooga and Dead!.
