Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1979, Trouble were one of the better bands that found a way to mix doom and psychedelic rock to create their sound. One of the early bands signed to Metal Blade Records and appeared on several compilations as well. The band's first two albums were characterized by their Sabbath influenced heavy guitars and Christian lyrics (which the band would later state were written more as a reaction to the rising tide of satanic metal bands in the early '80s as opposed to an attempt at being another band like Stryper) and are considered classics in many doom metal quarters. This song was the title track to their 1984 album . There were pressings of the album also that just showed the band name. One of my favorites.
