“This song came from looking at an old war photograph” says lead vocalist and bass player Stephanie Wlosinski. “Soldiers are depicted smiling but history tells a different tale as it often does with times of war. The story behind the photos tend to be much darker, sadder, and violent. This song touches on the emotional damages that war can cause and the PTSD that comes with it. It is about how heroes also need saving and battle through the emotional scars that their trauma leaves.”
