Black Stone Cherry - Cheaper To Drink Alone (Official Music Video)
Black Stone Cherry, ‘Cheaper to Drink Alone’ – Exclusive Video Premiere

Rock is not always pretty, and we get a chance to see that up close in Black Stone Cherry‘s new video for “Cheaper to Drink Alone,” which is premiering exclusively here at Loudwire.
The Blake Judd-directed video starts with what appears to be a commercial for a local event running on public access TV. Comedian Ron White stars as Don “Number Juan” Black, struggling to get through his read before the TV schedule teases Black Stone Cherry’s “Cheaper to Drink Alone” and we’re taken to a local bar where Black Stone Cherry are playing while a “speed-dating challenge” is going on. In addition to some females who bare a striking resemblance to the members of the band, you’ll catch guest turns from Halestorm‘s Lzzy Hale as one of the speed-daters, her bandmate Joe Hottinger as the speed-dating host and actor/comedian Alex Reymundo as the barkeep.
“This video is the first time we have stepped outside of our comfort zone, only to end up further into our comfort zone,” commented Black Stone Cherry. “It’s funny, it’s light hearted, it’s rock ‘n’ roll. It shows a side of the band that exists on a daily basis, and that is our love for ridiculous humor and not taking ourselves too seriously. We hope y’all enjoy it as much as we did creating it! We are also honored to have appearances of our friends from Number JUAN Tequila, Against The Grain Brewery, and Lzzy and Joe from our long time buddies, Halestorm.”
The clip was shot at the Spillway Bar & Grill in Bowling Green, Ky., with special support from Against the Grain Brewery and Number Juan Tequila.
“Cheaper to Drink Alone” is featured on Black Stone Cherry’s most recent album, Kentucky. The disc is currently available to purchase via iTunes or in other formats via the band’s website. Black Stone Cherry are currently on tour in support of the disc, finishing up shows with Through Fire and Caleb Johnson. They’ll get a breather before firing up the touring machine once again in late May for the start of their trek with Citizen Zero and Letters From the Fire.
