In fact, if you’re looking for a good reference point to Skunk’s vibe, it’s the sound that Sir Lord Baltimore pioneered. It’s hard for me to say what I like best about Doubleblind. The vocals of John McKelvy remind of a Robert Plant-Bon Scott mix. The swagger of Plant and attitude of Bon Scott, a little punk, dash of heavy metal, but mostly a whole lotta rock ‘n’ roll.
