Order now: https://TheOffering.lnk.to/HOMEID Nishad George of THE OFFERING stopped by our headquarters in Germany before the band’s 2019 Wacken performance to play through “Lovesick” high up on the rooftops. “Lovesick” is off of HOME, the new album by THE OFFERING; and this installment will be the first of the “NishPlays” series for the album, where Nish will be performing each track off HOME in the places furthest from it. Nish about the track: "When I first wrote the demo for this song, I wasn't going to show it to the band because it seemed like I might have had a little too much fun with the guitars. I'm inspired by a variety of metal guitar players, and I'd felt like I had finally written a song that maximized the 7-string's range along with capturing my favorite 'isms' about rock/hardcore/metal's guitar from the last couple of decades. To my surprise, the band fell in love with it and it ended up being in everyone's top three for the album when it was all done. As far as filming this video, I originally wanted to play this while sitting on the ledge of the five story building, but once I got in position, my bandmates & label refused to film because they thought it was too much of a liability, you know, with me possibly falling and going splat. You'd think that as a guitarist, I would know how to sit in one place without moving... Unbelievable. But this turned out way better because I got to move around more! Hope you enjoy."
