Tribute albums to Nine Inch Nails - THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL REDUX AND BEST OF details NIN fans get set for an upcoming pair of tribute albums to Nine Inch Nails. Magnetic Eye Records have been co-ordinating the releases under the name ‘Redux’ series. One of those albums will focus on covers of songs from Nine Inch Nails 1994 album “The Downward Spiral“. A second compilation will feature new renditions of various fan favorites from the band’s catalog. Newly revealed participants include Between The Buried And Me, who have covered “The Downward Spiral” album song “Hurt“. While Nine Inch Nails‘ original studio version of that song remains a classic of its era, a 2002 cover done by the late country music icon Johnny Cash introduced the song to a new audience .. Another new reveal for the tribute efforts are The Ocean, who have done “The Fragile” song “Even Deeper“see below so far..
