Texas progressive black metal duo  GIANT OF THE MOUNTAIN is pleased to announce the release of their fourth album, Nature's Wrath, out now via self-release.

Like the beast of seven heads emerging out of the darkest depths of the ocean, the North Texas band has ascended upon mankind with their crushing -- and rather impeccable -- cacophony of black metal, sludge, and progressive death metal. Featuring seven songs blazing through 42-minutes of scaling riffs and complex rhythms, NO CLEAN SINGING says "the album takes on a hypnotic quality as it traverses down the multitude of twisting and winding paths within each song."

Nature's Wrath was recorded, mixed and mastered by Michael Briggs (Kylesa, Baring Teeth, etc.), and the album's haunting artwork was created by Michael Sturrock of Stone Omen Designs.

Formed ten years ago, GIANT OF THE MOUNTAIN is the the showcase of North Texas veterans Cody Daniels and Randi Matejowsky. Currently on their sixth release as a band, the duo are tighter than ever. With winding passages and a progressive blackened sound, Nature’s Wrath is the highest summit reached by the band, while continuing their signature sound explored on releases like 2016's The Empty Quarter EP and 2014's Moon Worship full-length. Despite a several line-up changes, GIANT OF THE MOUNTAIN has toured the U.S. with bands like Canyon of the Skull and others, all while maintaining an unending DIY attitude. The band recently joined forces with Krigsgrav’s David Sikora on bass, bringing Randi’s explosive drumming and Cody’s soaring solos together creating a sound that will shake the mountain at its foundation.
