DIAMOND HYDE (Ex-Primer 55, Ex-Downthesun)

What you don't like vintage women's professional wrestling? Okay then, just close your eyes and listen to the sweet baby making music of Kansas City;'s own DIAMOND HYDE. LYRICS: The road, it is traveled and warn and to long It littered with bodies and blood They should not have gone out of their own They were warned, they were warned Glassy Eyes, Fragile skin We are, Children that they’ve bathed in Gold Taught to Die, Live in sin Ornament, never allowed to grow old From the chains - One shall rise up from the flames Gone insane - The masters shall know their own pain Silent, The sneak through the streets Knives in their hands and rags on their feet Plunging, the blade into meat cover their mouths as you silence their scream I have seen through their lies I have seen their paradise prophesized this isn’t natural life we are bred for a purpose and killed for sport we’ll make our way back home, through forest town alike disgraced and long forgotten, kept hidden from the light their living a lie crawling by the skin of their hands Blood on their hands seeings believing Huge Thanks to Dan Danöwar Whitmer and UMKC Studios for the great session and recording.

DIAMOND HYDE (Ex-Primer 55, Ex-Downthesun)

With a sonic assault as jagged as their moniker DIAMOND HYDE aim to deliver the heavy. Hailing from Kansas City, Diamond Hyde features seasoned veterans of the midwest scene, pulling heavy influence from bands such as High On Fire, Clutch, Corrosion of Conformity, Orange Goblin, Night Stalker, and Mastodon. Live, the band is firing on all cylinders and are known for their ferocious stage performances where they carve out their own aggressive sound; as tough as rusty nails.
Diamond Hyde have released 3 singles - Paid For In Blood, Children Bathed In Gold, and Crushed Under Foot; recorded by Andrew Nagorski (Marasmus) at Sand Man Audio. With a doomy, groove-metal edge, Diamond Hyde wield a hellacious and rugged tone, rougher than an armadillo’s ass.
